Tryouts Begin Jan 31st
The 2011 team tryouts begin at 4:00-5:30 PM behind Forest City Elementary. Teams selected on Feb 4th; Varsity players meeting at 5 PM. Practices start on Feb 7th.
Annual 5K Lacrosse Run and "Fun Day"
The Eighth Annual Lake Brantley Boys Lacrosse 5K Run will be Saturday, February 12th at Wekiva Springs Elementary School, 1450 East Wekiva Trail, Longwood, FL. All LBHS Lax players must run in this event and families are invited to join in. We will have a Family Fun Day BBQ at Sweetwater Beach after the race.

Coffee Fundraiser Success
Thank you to all that participated! Our two winning teams were led by seniors Kaleigh and Christina, and Morgan and Cecily. Great job! All players that sold coffee attended a team pizza party at the Pinneke’s house on Saturday Jan. 22nd.
Lady Patriots Come up a Goal Short in 2010 State Title 9-10
Those who don't know Lake Brantley lacrosse might have thought that the state finals game wouldn't be much of a contest. Those who knew the character of the 25 members of the 2010 Varsity team knew better. Although they came up one goal short of their aspiration, this team gave it a great effort, and for that we couldn't be more proud of them. Congratulations to the Indians for standing up to the Patriot challenge - certainly the toughest team they faced all year.
